Cattle Care and Facilities

With animal husbandry, details matter

From intake and processing, to ration formulation, to pen maintenance, to treatment and care, we focus on the minutia that translates to superior performance.

Skilled Nutritionists

We regularly work with skilled nutritionists to develop starter, grower, and finish rations designed to get the most out of your cattle.

Our cowboys ride all pens daily, and sick and/or injured cattle are pulled promptly for examination and treatment. Veterinarians are regularly on-site to assess the needs of your cattle.

Bunks are read multiple times daily to ensure feed is consistent and distributed uniformly.

We use data to inform decisions and drive future outcomes. Ration changes, as fed quantities, pen movements, mass and individualized treatments, days on feed, and a bevy of other data points are closely tracked and available at your request.

Our Facilities

We invest in our facilities to provide your cattle with state-of-the-art accommodations.

Our Scott City yards produce a steam flaked corn-based ration, which improves starch digestibility and nutrient availability. Mill operations are subject to stringent quality-control protocols to ensure production of uniform flakes.

Our load-out facilities, pens, alleyways, and processing facilities are designed to minimize handling stress.

Pen sizes range from 50-240 head.
